I am a working mom and I’m proud to be!

Although there were times that I wished to be a Stay-at-Home-Mom so that I can be with the kids all the time, in a way I’m still thankful because GOD made a way for me to still become a “hands-on-working-mom” to my kiddos. He gave me considerate, patient and family-oriented superiors who fully understood a mom’s on-call duties like frequent filing of leaves, unaccounted lates and unexpected “I need to go home ASAP” stories.

It’s not easy to be a working mom. Guilt engulf me every time I arrived home with the kids already asleep and mommy forgets to call and wish them goodnight. I am saddened whenever I missed the chance to witness a new milestone of our little guy or the stories that sweetie had every time she arrived from school (she’s not into repeating stories). These were some of the things that I need to bear but it’s pointless to dwell on these, better yet, I must find ways to make up with them.
